KEARNEY, Neb. (AP) — Authorities are investigating the death of a man after a grass, rubbish and vehicle fire at a Buffalo County property.
Kearney officials say firefighters were sent to the scene northeast of Kearney Regional Airport about 2:20 p.m. Monday, and the fire was under control by 3 p.m.
The man’s body was found in one of the vehicles. His name hasn’t been released. An autopsy has been ordered.
The fire cause also is being investigated.
