North Platte, NE- On Monday and Tuesday, June 8th & 9th, the 2015 Junior Ambassador Classic Two Day Tournament will take place at our local River’s Edge Golf Club and Lake Maloney Golf Course. Approximately 80 junior golf entrants ages 7 to 18, from around the western end of the state, will participate in one of the biggest junior golf tournaments Nebraska hosts.
The Tournament Schedule as follows:
Day 1: June 8th, play will start at River’s Edge Golf Club at 10:30am – 3:00pm.
Day 2: June 9th, play will start at Lake Maloney Golf Course at 9:00am – 2:00pm.
Special Event, Junior Slugfest Scramble & Dinner, will be held June 8th at Lake Maloney Golf Course at 6:30pm. Juniors will be randomly teamed up and will compete in a 4-hole scramble in competition for trophies. BBQ Dinner for players and their families will be provided by the North Platte Ambassadors.
Trophies will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each division collectively through the two-day tournament. The trophy presentation will be held at the end of play on June 9th at Lake Maloney Golf Course around 2:00pm by the Clubhouse.
