Three Broncos Make Pro Bowl; Six Selected As Alternates

Three Denver Broncos were named to the AFC’s Pro Bowl roster as the participants for the NFL’s yearly all-star showcase were announced yesterday. Cornerback Champ Bailey was selected to his 11th Pro Bowl. He’ll start at the position opposite New York’s Darrelle Revis. Also getting a starting nod was rookie linebacker Von Miller. The second overall pick of the NFL Draft has recorded 11.5 sacks this season and is one of two starting outside linebackers for the AFC, along with Baltimore’s Terrelle Suggs. Defensive end Elvis Dumervil was selected for his second career Pro Bowl. Six Broncos were selected as alternates as well. They are running back Willis McGahee, safety Brian Dawkins, tackle Ryan Clady, punter Britton Colquitt, kicker Matt Prater, and quarterback Tim Tebow.
