“Heat of the Moment” is the first single released by progressive rock band Asia from their 1982 eponymous debut. The song was the most popular of the album, and a big hit in the USA, peaking at #1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock chart and #4 on the Billboard Top Singles chart. It was written by John Wetton and Geoff Downes. “Heat of the Moment” is featured at the beginning of another Asia song called “Don’t Call Me” as a dialing number from a telephone.
More men are getting full wax works. What? What?
A chain of waxing boutiques in London has found that guys are visiting to get all-body wax treatments. That’s right –head-to-toe hairlessness.
For $430, guys are having the hair ripped out of their eyebrows, nose, ears, back, chest, stomach, legs, arms, underarm and of course a Brazilian or Hollywood wax.
If you’re interested, keep in mind that you’ll only stay hairless for six weeks, at which time you’ll have to do it all again — and fork over another $430.
Ouch.

Making new friends.. Can it be harder than dating?
When it comes to making new friends, it can be harder than dating.
It’s a totally different kind of expectation when it comes to meeting cool chicks that you just want to hang out with.
Here are some hints when it comes to scoping out new gal pals …
- Throw out all expectations. We are far too hard on ourselves, and we are our own worse critics. Half the time what you’re thinking isn’t anywhere accurate to reality, so let it go.
- Don’t stress out about it. If they don’t like you for who you are, forget them. You want real people you connect with, and real friends. Changing who you are to accommodate those around you is never a good thing. You’re not being true to yourself, and down the road, they’ll only call you out on it. It’s best to go out, have fun, do your thing, and be yourself. Talk about what you want to talk about, and share what you know. Stop with the pressure — it’s not worth it.
- For the most part, people just want someone to hang out with. A lot of people have many acquaintances but very few good friends. Think about it that way, and you’ll be OK in life.

There are some fads from the ’80s that are coming back, whether we like them or not — like shoulder pads!
Cowboys and Aliens star Olivia Wilde showed up to the premiere wearing a little red frock with a couple of exaggerated shoulders. And as much as we’d like to hate it … she looked great!

Price Is Right host Drew Carey landed in the hospital yesterday after taking a tumble while jogging and separating his clavicle. As a result, the game show’s taping yesterday was cancelled. But Drew assured fans he’ll be back to work soon.
It’s a girl for Kevin Federline and girlfriend Victoria Prince. Jordan Kay is K-Fed’s fifth child. The former backup dancer has two sons with Britney Spears and a son and daughter with Shar Jackson.
Actor Neal McDonough (Captain America: The First Avenger) and his wife welcomed their fourth child, daughter Clover Elizabeth, on Monday.
Dr. Phil gets interview with Casey Anthony’s parents
Dr. Phil has landed the first interview with Casey Anthony’s parents after her controversial murder acquittal.
Cindy and George Anthony will appear on the September 12th season premiere of The Dr. Phil Show. In a statement, the talk-show host says, “Cindy and George have suffered a horrific loss with the untimely death of their granddaughter Caylee, and they have since endured an unprecedented public attack on their family. Have these attacks been warranted, or not? I looked them straight in the eye and asked some very tough questions. Nothing is off limits during this interview.”
Dr. Phil says the interview is being done in return for a donation to Caylee’s Fund, the Anthonys’ charity, but insists “the couple will derive no income” from it.

Colleen is on her way to a retirement party; or so she thinks. What she doesn’t realize is that she’s actually on her way to a wedding — her wedding. Her boyfriend Shawn spent the past year finding out what Colleen’s vision of a perfect wedding would be, and then without her knowing, planned the entire thing down to the smallest detail. He invited 200 guests and explained to them all what was going on. In the end, she said “yes” and Shawn had pulled off the most amazing wedding ever.

KATE PLUS 8 GETS CANCELLED
Kate Gosselin will soon be joining ex-husband Jon as a former reality star.
TLC has cancelled Kate Plus 8, with the final episode airing September 12th.
The show was spun off from the hit Jon & Kate Plus 8 after the couple’s marriage dissolved. TLC hopes to check in with Kate and the family from time to time with specials.
