North Platte —The North Platte Community College Knights basketball defeated the Southeast Community College Storm 76-66 at the McDonald-Belton Gymnasium on Friday night.

The Knights started out sluggish in the game leading 20-15 with eight minutes to go in the first half.  There were five lead changes in the first 12 minutes of the game.

North Platte — The North Platte Community College Lady Knights basketball team lost to the Southeast Community College Lady Storm 65-55 on Friday night at the McDonald-Belton Gymnasium.

The game was a National Junior College Athletic Association Region IX Division II game.

Suhmer Mitchell of the Lady Knights started off the scoring to give North Platte the early lead. Veshae Wilkinson answered back with a field goal and a three-pointer to give the Lady Storm the 5-2 lead.  There were six lead changes in the first quarter and the Lady Storm held a 19-13 lead at the end of the first quarter. North Platte —The North Platte Community College Knights basketball team defeated the Laramie County Community College Golden Eagles in an important National Junior College Athletic Association Region IX South Sub-Region contest 75-73 Wednesday night at the McDonald-Belton Gymnasium.

Madison, Wis. – Nebraska ran into a hot-shooting Wisconsin team Wednesday night, as the Badgers hit 11 3-pointers in a 72-61 win over the Huskers.

Wisconsin (15-9, 7-4) hit 11-of-18 from 3-point range, including four consecutive 3-pointers after Nebraska pulled within two points in the opening minutes of the second half. Vitto Brown went 3-for-3 from long range en route to an 18-point effort, while Bronson Koening had a pair of 3-points in the 12-4 Badger run to extend the lead.
