Lincoln, Neb.— The Nebraska soccer team’s senior duo Katie Kraeutner and Jaylyn Odermann led the Huskers to a 3-0 win over No. 23 Kansas for the 2015 season opener on Friday night. Chiefs hold off Seahawks 14-13 in second preseason game

Kansas City Chiefs LogoKANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson and Chiefs counterpart Alex Smith struggled behind their unsettled offensive lines in Kansas City’s 14-13 preseason victory over Seattle on Friday night.

Miley, Red Sox end Royals’ 5-game winning streak

kc-royalsBOSTON (AP) — Ryan Hanigan drove in two runs and scored another on Jackie Bradley Jr.’s triple to help the Boston Red Sox beat Kansas City 4-1 Thursday night, ending the Royals’ five-game winning streak.

Lincoln, Neb. – The Nebraska football team wrapped up another 2015 Fall Camp practice Thursday morning as the Huskers practiced outside on the Ed and Joyanne Gass practice fields for about two and a half hours. Nebraska won’t rush Pierson-El back from injury

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Nebraska coach Mike Riley is not setting a timetable for De’Mornay Pierson-El’s return from an injury.

MPCC saddles up for fall rodeo

Two days of fast-paced, hoof-stompin’, bull-snortin’ action are about to take over the Wild West Arena in North Platte, and only a handful will come out on top.
