Huskers Picked Second in Big Ten Preseason Poll

Lincoln, Neb. – The Nebraska volleyball team was picked to finish second by the Big Ten coaches in the conference’s preseason poll released on Thursday.

Huskers Tied for Fifth in AVCA Preseason Poll

The Nebraska volleyball team will start the 2015 season tied at No. 5 in the AVCA Coaches Preseason Poll, released on Wednesday.

The Huskers tied Wisconsin with 1,275 points to share the No. 5 spot, the Huskers’ best ranking in the poll since Oct. 29, 2012. Nebraska returns all but one starter from last year’s team, which finished with a 23-10 record, a trip to the NCAA Regional Final for the third straight year and a No. 8 final ranking. Chiefs’ Charles laments ‘rough’ offensive line last season

Nebraska-Miami Tipoff Time and TV Set

Lincoln The Big Ten Conference and ESPN announced Tuesday that Nebraska’s Big Ten/ACC Challenge game against Miami at Pinnacle Bank Arena will tip off at 8 p.m. (central) on Dec. 1 on ESPNU.

The Big Ten/ACC Challenge features all 14 Big Ten teams in nationally televised games on ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU. Monday, August 3rd was a beautiful day for the inaugural 18 & under, 4-Person Scramble played at Oregon Trail GC in Sutherland.  54 juniors from Bayside to Broken Bow participated in the 18 hole event sponsored by the OTGC Junior Golf Committee.  The top three teams in 2 flights received trophies and/or merchandise and flag prizes were awarded on each hole.
