KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Ian Kinsler doubled home two runs and the Detroit Tigers batted around in a four-run eighth inning to defeat the Kansas City Royals 7-4 on Wednesday night.

The Nebraska volleyball team will start the 2015 season tied at No. 5 in the AVCA Coaches Preseason Poll, released on Wednesday.
The Huskers tied Wisconsin with 1,275 points to share the No. 5 spot, the Huskers’ best ranking in the poll since Oct. 29, 2012. Nebraska returns all but one starter from last year’s team, which finished with a 23-10 record, a trip to the NCAA Regional Final for the third straight year and a No. 8 final ranking. Lincoln, Neb.- The Nebraska football team wrapped up its fifth 2015 fall camp practice Tuesday night, as the Huskers practiced outside on the Ed and Joyanne Gass practice fields for just over two hours. Monday, August 3rd was a beautiful day for the inaugural 18 & under, 4-Person Scramble played at Oregon Trail GC in Sutherland. 54 juniors from Bayside to Broken Bow participated in the 18 hole event sponsored by the OTGC Junior Golf Committee.
