West Lafayette, Ind. – The Nebraska baseball team (16-7, 3-0 Big Ten) completed a sweep of the Purdue Boilermakers (4-17, 0-3 Big Ten) on Sunday afternoon, holding on for a 9-8 victory. Terre Haute, Ind. – Powered by 10 hits, including a pair of home runs, the Nebraska baseball team (13-7, 0-0 Big Ten) finished a two-game sweep of the Indiana State Sycamores (13-9, 0-0 MVC) on Wednesday afternoon with a 11-4 win. Employees of AmFirst Bank, AmFirst Insurance and AmFirst Investment Services in McCook raised $200 for the Mid-Plains Community College Rodeo Team through a “Wear Green with Your Jeans” event on Saint Patrick’s Day. It’s been a good week for the Mid-Plains Community College Rodeo Team.
