AL PACINO INJURES EYE: Al Pacino was treated for an eye injury earlier this week on the set of Stand Up Guys, his upcoming action/comedy with Christopher Walken. The New York Post reported that medics had to attend to the 72-year-old actor after a gunfight scene — giving him eye drops and flushing out whatever was interfering with his vision.ZSA ZSA GABOR CONSERVATORSHIP CONTROVERSY: Prince Frederic von Anhalt has responded to his wife Zsa Zsa Gabor’s daughter, who wants to take over her mother’s conservatorship because she doesn’t trust her stepfather. TMZ.com reported that he filed a formal objection with the Superior Court of L.A., claiming Francesca is the worst person to take care of Zsa Zsa due to her “past conduct,” which includes an alleged assault on von Anhalt last year. Francesca alleges that her stepfather isolates and sedates Gabor regularly, however he maintains he does everything in his power to take care of his wife.

‘SEX AND THE CITY’ TOWNHOUSE HAS NEW OWNER: The famous Sex and the City townhouse is off the market. A mystery buyer purchased the West Village pad — featuring the famous stoop where Sarah Jessica Parker’s character often stood — for $9.85 million. The price was $200,000 more than it was listed for. The 4,100-square foot home features five bedrooms and six fireplaces.

KATE BOSWORTH ISN’T MARRIED: Kate Bosworth is not married. A rep for the actress shot downStar magazine’s report that Bosworth and her director boyfriend Michael Polish secretly tied the knot. Star had claimed the two “recently exchanged vows” in a “secret Buddhist commitment ceremony.”

KATHERINE HEIGL ADOPTS AGAIN: Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley have adopted a second daughter. A rep for the actress confirmed the news, but did not offer any other details. The couple adopted daughter Naleigh, now 3, back in 2009.

JACK OSBOURNE AND FIANCE WELCOME DAUGHTER: Jack Osbourne is a father. The former reality star and his fiance Lisa Stelly welcome a daughter named Pearl on Tuesday (April 24th). New grandma Sharon Osbourne tweeted after the birth, “Today I witnessed my first grandchild being born, life changing experience. She is an angel.”

KATIE HOLMES IS NOT PREGNANT: Contrary to rumors, Katie Holmes is not pregnant. After a tabloid reported on her supposed condition, a rep for Holmes said, “She is not pregnant. It’s [a weekly magazine report]. Why would they be a credible source? It’s the same publication she sued last year and won. It’s false. The [tabloid] lied as usual.”

TYRA TALKS ‘ANTM’ SHAKEUP: Tyra Banks says that firing her longtime staff on America’s Next Top Model was “difficult.” After axing her supposed friends, Tyra told Access Hollywood, “We reached a point where were feel the show needs a new boost. It’s very difficult because I love my guys — they’re my guys. My partner Ken Mok and I have projects we’re developing, and we’re a family — it doesn’t end.”

KATIE COURIC LAUNCHING WEB SERIES: Katie Couric is launching a weekly Web series. The TV personality, who has a new daytime show premiering in the fall, will also host “Katie’s Take” for Yahoo Inc. and ABC News in which she will discuss health, nutrition, parenting and wellness issues. The series will premiere Tuesday.

CW HAS LOWEST-RATED DRAMA: The CW set a new record — for the lowest-rated in-season broadcast drama debut on record. The show to earn this distinction was The L.A. Complex, drawing just 646,000 viewers and a 0.3 rating in the adult demo.

MORE REPORTS OF MEGAN FOX PREGNANCY: E! is now reporting that Megan Fox is pregnant. Rumors about the actress’s condition have been swirling for several weeks, but she’s yet to confirm that she’s with child. The 25-year-old is already a stepmom to husband Brian Austin Green’s son. This would be the couple’s first child together.LANE GARRISON MAINTAINS INNOCENCE: Even though surveillance footage has emerged showingLane Garrison swinging at his ex-girlfriend, Ashley Mattingly, the actor claims he’s innocent of domestic violence. According to PerezHilton.com, Lane claims that what appeared to be a slap was actually him reaching for his cell phone that she had snatched out of his hand. He has not yet been charged with a crime.

SCOTT DISICK BRAWLS OVER KARDASHIAN DISS: Scott Disick reportedly got into a scuffle over the weekend after clubgoers started heckling him about his Kardashian konnections. The New York Postreported that Kourtney’s baby daddy reacted violently when a club patron screamed “Stop trying to be Armenian!” A witness said that “some pushing and shoving erupted, and the argument grew so heated that security had to pull the guys apart.” Afterwards, Scott and Rob Kardashian continued their night upstairs with no further incidents.

NOAH WYLE DISCUSSES ARREST: Noah Wyle called his Monday arrest “slightly surreal.” The actor was taken away in handcuffs — along with about 100 others — during a Capitol Hill protest by the group ADAPT to urge Congress not to cut Medicaid. The arrest came a month after his former E.R. costar George Clooney was handcuffed at a protest outside the Sudanese embassy in Washington. Speaking about the coincidence, Wyle told the AP, “Let George focus on the international; I’ll deal with the small domestic issues.”

JENNER GIRLS LAND NEW JOB: The youngest Kardashians are continuing to follow in their sisters’ footsteps. Kendall and Kylie Jenner will now have a monthly column in Seventeen magazine in which they will feature fashion and beauty tips. In addition to the column — titled “Kendall & Kylie’s Fashion Journal” — the Jenners will also participate in twice-a-month web videos for seventeen.com.

 

MEL GIBSON CLOSE TO NEW MOVIE ROLE: Mel Gibson is reportedly going to star in the sequel to Robert Rodriguez’s violent 2010 action film MacheteDeadline.com reported that Mel is in advanced talks to play a supporting role in Machete Kills.

RYAN SEACREST EXTENDS ‘IDOL’ DEAL: Ryan Seacrest isn’t abandoning American Idol. Despite his multitude of jobs, Seacrest signed a new contract with the show that made him famous, promising fans at least two more years with their favorite host. He said of the extension, “For the last 11 seasons, I’ve had the privilege to be a part of one of television’s most iconic shows. It’s been a wild ride, and I’m excited for my journey with American Idol to continue.” Seacrest will reportedly continue to earn $15 million a year for the gig.

KTLA DISSES ASHTON KUTCHER? KTLA — a Los Angeles TV station — appears to prefer Charlie Sheen to Ashton Kutcher on Two and a Half Men. The station, which airs repeats of the show, has launched a new marketing campaign featuring Charlie’s face next to the words, “The Original” in its promotion of the show. Sources told TMZ that the station believes fans miss Charlie and are more interested in the reruns than new episodes with Ashton Kutcher. The ad is plastered on billboards around Los Angeles.

JESSICA CHASTAIN IN TALKS FOR ‘IRON MAN 3’: Jessica Chastain is reportedly in talks to join the cast of Iron Man 3. Deadline.com reported that the Oscar nominee would take on the role of a “sexy scientist” who will have a storyline with Robert Downey Jr.’s alter ego, Tony Stark.

PETRA NEMCOVA DATING SEAN PENN? Petra Nemcova is reportedly finding solace in the arms of her ex-boyfriend Sean Penn in the wake of her broken engagement. The New York Post reported that the supermodel and Penn were spotted together just a week after it was reported that she’d called it quits with British actor Jamie Belman. A source told the Post, “Petra was all over him like crazy. She was rubbing his shoulders and rubbing his leg. She was hanging all over him. Sean looked like he was playing it cool. But they did leave the restaurant together.”

SIMON COWELL TALKS GAY RUMORS: Simon Cowell is trying to clear up the rumors about his sexuality once and for all. Simon told Tom Bower, the author of Sweet Revenge: The Intimate Life of Simon Cowell, “If I was gay, why wouldn’t I admit it? It wouldn’t harm me, and my mother wouldn’t freak out.” The book also claims that Simon had a secret romance with Dannii Minogue.

NOAH WYLE ARRESTED: Noah Wyle was arrested on Monday (April 23rd) along with more than 100 members of the group ADAPT during a Capitol Hill protest to urge Congress not to cut Medicaid. The protestors say that cuts in Medicaid spending would force people with disabilities and the elderly out of their homes and into nursing homes to get the services they need.

LINDSAY LOHAN OFFICIALLY SIGNS ON AS LIZ TAYLOR: Lindsay Lohan has officially landed the part of Elizabeth Taylor in Lifetime’s original movie Liz & Dick. Although it’s been reported for months that she scored the part — it only just became official. Lifetime’s Executive Vice President, Programming, Rob Sharenow said, “We are thrilled Lindsay will portray beloved Hollywood legend Elizabeth Taylor. She is one of the rare actresses who possesses the talent, beauty and intrigue to capture the spirit of such a provocative icon.” Lindsay released her own statement saying, “I have always admired and had enormous respect for Elizabeth Taylor. She was not only an incredible actress but an amazing woman as well. I am very honored to have been asked to play this role.”

ASHLEY FINK DROPPED FROM ‘GLEE’: Ashley Fink has been dropped from Glee. The actress, who played plus-sized Lauren Zizes, confirmed to TheInsider.com that she’s done with the Fox series. Fink explained, “It is what it is. Lauren’s somewhere in that school, she’s just not on camera or being talked about. She’s involved in activities that aren’t televised.” She added that there are no hard feelings: “Glee is very much a fly by the seat of your pants [operation] in the way that best laid plans never quite come together. They have so many [characters] to take care of and I think once they made the decision that all these characters were going to graduate, it shifted the way this season was going to go.”

JENNIFER LAWRENCE IN ‘GLASS CASTLE’? Jennifer Lawrence is looking ahead to her next project.GossipCop.com reported that The Hunger Games star is in talks to star in an adaptation of The Glass Castle — an award-winning memoir by Jeannette Walls, which “recounts her dysfunctional, nomadic and largely poverty-stricken upbringing.”

Jennifer Aniston is reportedly racing Brangelina to the altar. In the wake of her ex-husband’s engagement news, TMZ.com claims that Jen and her boyfriend Justin Theroux are planning a wedding in Crete.
