LANCE BASS GETTING INTO REALITY TV?: Lance Bass might be the next celebrity to get a reality show. According to Perez HiltonLifetime is reportedly working on a show called Celebrity Sellouts, about celebrity yard sales. The show will reportedly follow celebs into their homes as they part with memorabilia and home goods and auction it off for charity. Each celebrity will reportedly be trying to hit a goal dollar amount.

SELENA GOMEZ NOT INTERESTED IN FIFTY SHADES OF GREY ROLE: Though tons of women in Hollywood are gunning to play Anastasia Steele in the movie adaptation of E.L. James’ book, Fifty Shades of Grey — Selena Gomez is not one of them. She told MTV, that she thinks the role might be a bit mature for her. She said, “I only read the beginning of it. So I started to read it, and I was like, ‘Oh, this is spicy.’ I don’t think so. I know I’m taking risks, but I don’t think I could do that! That would be a little too much for me. I think someone older should do that part.”

ONE DIRECTION TALK NEW ALBUM: One Direction might have a new album out before the holidays. A source told the Daily Star that the group is touring and working on an album. The source said, “The plan is to have a new single out around November, with the album to follow a week or two later.”

ALYSON HANNIGAN WELCOMES DAUGHTER: Alyson Hannigan and husband Alexis Denisof have welcomed their second child. Us Weekly reported that Hannigan gave birth to a daughter named Keeva Jane Denisof on May 23. The two are also parents to a three-year-old girl named Satyana. ANN RUTHERFORD DIES AT 94: Ann Rutherford, who was best known for her role as Scarlett O’Hara’s sister in Gone With the Wind, has died at the age of 94. The Los Angeles Times reported that Rutherford had been in declining health over the past few years and had been suffering from cardiac issues. One of Rutherford’s other notable roles was as Mickey Rooney’s teenage girlfriend Polly in the Andy Hardymovies. Rutherford is survived by her daughter, Gloria, and two grandsons.

JEFF GOLDBLUM GRANTED RESTRAINING ORDER: Jeff Goldblum was granted a three-year restraining order against Linda Ransom, who he alleges has been harassing him for a decade. Things got heated during a court appearance on Tuesday when Ransom repeatedly yelled at the judge. The judge eventually said, “I must say you are acting irrationally in court. Mr. Goldblum does not want you near him.”

BETTY WHITE HANGS WITH OBAMA: Betty White is apparently BFF with President Barack Obama. The 90-year-old star dropped by the White House on Monday while she was in town to give a speech at the Smithsonian. E! reported that the animal lover also got to visit with the first dog Bo while she was on the premises.

ZAC EFRON AND LILY COLLINS SPLIT: Zac Efron and Lily Collins have reportedly split. The two young stars were linked over the past few months, but sources say it was never a deep relationship. One insider told Us Weekly, “They’re no longer together. They were never serious, though; it was just a casual thing and it fizzled (out). They were never in the same place at the same time.”

JOSEPH FIENNES JOINING ‘AMERICAN HORROR STORY’? Joseph Fiennes is reportedly in talks to join the second season of FX’s American Horror Story. EW.com reported that Fiennes would play “the head of the institution for the criminally insane where star Jessica Lange works.” The report noted that Feinnes might also serve as a love interest for Lange.

 PHILLIP PHILLIPS READY FOR WORK: Phillip Phillips is ready to resume his duties as the latestAmerican Idol. Less than a week after undergoing a six-hour surgery to remove kidney stones that were too large to pass, he told E! News, “I’m out of the hospital and back to work!” Phillips is set to begin performing on the American Idols Live concert tour on July 6.

KATE WALSH LEAVING ‘PRIVATE PRACTICE’: Kate Walsh is leaving Private Practice. The actress confirmed her departure on Bethenny Frankel’s new talk show, telling the host, “This is my last season. It’s been an incredible journey an amazing ride. I’m hugely, hugely grateful.” She added, “It’s been a long time being Addison. I feel incredibly grateful to [creator] Shonda Rhimes and all the fans that have been there from day one to now. “I’m really excited about the last season … it’s bittersweet.”

BLAKE LIVELY SAYS PEOPLE DON’T BELIEVE SHE’S PRUDISH: Blake Lively says that strangers have a hard time believing she’s not a slut because they can’t separate the actress from her character onGossip Girl. The 24-year-old admitted to Marie Claire, “People like to draw parallels between my life and the scandalous stories on Gossip Girl. I dress the same as my character, so they think, She lives this life on and off set. I recently shared how many boyfriends I’ve had [four], and people were like, ‘That’s impossible!’ But it’s true. I’ve been with very few people. If I’m not with somebody who really excites or inspires me, then I’d rather be by myself.”DEENA’S PARENTS SPRING HER FROM JAIL: Deena Nicole Cortese is loose at the Jersey Shore again. The reality star was spotted leaving a New Jersey jail flanked by her parents on Sunday (June 10th), hours after her arrest for disorderly conduct. TMZ.com reported that Deena was busted after drunkenly wandering into the street and blocking the flow of traffic. Her costars Ronnie, Jwoww, Sammi and Snooki all paid her a visit behind bars before her parents eventually sprung her loose.

FRANK CADY DIES AT 96: Frank Cady, best known for his role as Sam Drucker on Green Acres, has died at the age of 96. Cady’s daughter told the Los Angeles that her father passed away on June 8th at his home in Oregon. Cady reprised his role as Sam Drucker on Petticoat Junction and The Beverly Hillbillies — and had a recurring role on The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet. He’d been living in Oregon since the 1990s.

JOY BEHAR LANDS NEW CURRENT TV SHOW: Joy Behar has landed a new show on Current TV. News of the program comes six months after the end of Behar’s HLN talk show — and not long after Keith Olbermann was fired from Current. Behar, best known for her role on The View, will begin the Current show in September. Fans can rest easy as Joy will keep her gig on The View as well.

 TONY AWARDS RATINGS DROP: Not too many people were interested in the Tony Awards this year.USA Today reported that viewership declined by nearly one million since last year — as just 6 million people tuned in to watch the Broadway celebrations. The numbers mark the show’s smallest audience since 2007.

NO MARIO LOPEZ ON ‘DWTS ALL STARS’? Contrary to previous reports, Mario Lopez will not be a part of the Dancing With The Stars: All Stars cast. Although he said earlier this year that he’d been approached by ABC, Lopez most recently told TV Guide magazine, “I’m really busy, so I don’t think I’ll be able to do it. I don’t watch the show and didn’t even watch when I was on it. My mom wanted me to do it.”

WEEKEND MOVIE WRAP-UP
The family film Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted, the third movie in the animated franchise, debuted in first place at the weekend box office with $60.4 million. In the film, the zoo animals are still trying to get back to New York, but their journey takes them to a traveling circus in Europe. Voice starring are Ben Stiller,Chris Rock, Jada Pinkett Smith, David Schwinner, Sacha Baron Cohen, Martin Short and Frances McDormand.

 Also with a big opening in second place was the sci-fi film Prometheus, from director Ridley Scott, which made $50 million. The film, an offshoot of 1979’s classic movie Alien, follows a team of explorers who travel to deep space, where they must fight a battle against aliens to save the future of the human race. Starring are Michael FassbenderNoomi RapaceCharlize TheronIdris ElbaGuy Pearce and Logan Marshall-Green.

  • Last week’s top movie, Snow White & the Huntsman, fell to third place.

MADONNA SHOWS HER NIPPLE: At Madonna’s Istanbul concert last week, she reportedly decided to pull out her entire boob after doing a mini strip tease on stage. Reportedly, video is available of the incident and Madonna, 53, was not shy at all.

AMY WINEHOUSE STATUE: Amy Winehouse’s father, Mitch, is hoping to commemorate his daughter with a statue that will reportedly be placed somewhere near her home in Camden Town. According to Perez Hilton, the statue will reportedly be made of bronze. Mitch said, “It will be bronze, lifesize, and on the first-floor balcony next to the Roundhouse bar… What we’d like to have is Amy leaning over the balcony and looking, and perhaps pointing, towards Camden Town from Chalk Farm Road.”

ONE DIRECTION NUMBER ONE: One Direction’s DVD, Up All Night: The Live Tour DVD is reportedly sweeping the world. The movie has scored the top spot in 25 countries, including Canada and the UK. According to Perez Hilton, the boys couldn’t be happier. Niall Horan said, “We’re blown away by the success of the DVD all around the world and want to thank everyone who has gone out and bought it, the support means so much to us. It was lots of fun filming the concert for the DVD, so we’re chuffed all the fans love it so much.”

‘JERSEY SHORE’S’ DEENA ARRESTED: Deena Cortese apparently wanted to contribute to the Jersey Shore scandal tally of the past week. After news broke that her castmates got into a major bar brawl and nude pictures of Snooki surfaced online — Deena was arrested for being drunk in public. GossipCop.com reported that the reality star was picked up by police in Seaside Heights on Sunday after “appearing highly intoxicated” and taken away in handcuffs. The formal cause of the arrest was “disorderly conduct.”TOMMY CHONG DIAGNOSED WITH PROSTATE CANCER: Tommy Chong — half of the famous Cheech and Chong duo — has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. The comedian told CNN that he received the diagnosis a month ago — and while he plans on using cannabis to treat the illness, he maintains it was not a cause. Chong explained that he began having prostate-related problems during a three-year period when he was drug free. He said, “I know it had nothing to do with cannabis.  Cannabis is a cure.”

JENNY MCCARTHY DIDN’T WAX FOR PLAYBOY: Jenny McCarthy says that she went au natural “down there” for her soon-to-be released Playboy spread. When asked if it was difficult to show off everything on her body, Jenny told the Today show, “What’s everything? I mean I grew out a bush so nobody sees anything.” When asked why she would strip down again at age 39, Jenny said, “I figured [I’d do it] one more time before everything really falls apart. Why not? And [my son] Evan’s tuition was really expensive this year.”

ROBERT DE NIRO’S APARTMENT CATCHES ON FIRE: Robert De Niro’s New York City apartment was damaged by a fire on Friday. Starpulse.com reported that firefighters were called to the apartment and managed to quickly put out the flames. De Niro was reportedly out of the country at the time and no injuries were reported.

JOSH DALLAS OUT OF ‘THOR’ SEQUEL: Josh Dallas is being dropped from the upcoming Thorsequel. The actor, who played Fandral in the original, told EW.com, “I’m bummed about it because I had such a great experience and great time making the first film and was really excited about coming back,” adding that scheduling is to blame. THR.com speculates that Zachary Levi in the running to take over the role.

 ‘CAR TALK’ GUYS CALLING IT QUITS: Tom and Ray Magliozzi are ending their popular NPR show Car Talk. The brothers have been giving comical auto advice for 25 years, but as older brother Tom is now 74 — they say it’s time to stop recording new episodes. However, NPR says that repurposed episodes will continue to air every week with material from the show’s archives.

JOEY LAWRENCE STRIPS FOR CHIPPENDALES: Joey Lawrence is making sure that his image doesn’t get too wholesome while he stars on the ABC Family Channel sitcom Melissa & Joey. Peoplemagazine reported that the former Blossom star performed on Friday with the legendary male review Chippendales in Las Vegas. Lawrence will be appearing nearly nude in the show for a limited engagement that runs until June 24th.
