Griffin, Jordan each score 18, Clippers beat Nuggets 111-94

Denver_NuggetsDENVER (AP) — Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan each scored 18 points and the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Denver Nuggets 111-94 on Tuesday night to snap a three-game losing streak.

Gallinari leads Nuggets past Pelicans, 115-98

Denver_NuggetsNEW ORLEANS (AP) — Denver’s Danilo Gallinari scored a season-high 32 points, New Orleans’ Anthony Davis hurt his left shoulder in the first quarter, and the Nuggets defeated the downtrodden Pelicans 115-98 on Tuesday night.

Hickson, Mudiay help Nuggets hold off Trail Blazers, 108-104

Denver_NuggetsDENVER (AP) — J.J. Hickson scored 19 points and rookie Emmanuel Mudiay hit two game-sealing free throws with 18.3 seconds remaining, helping the Denver Nuggets beat the Portland Trail Blazers 108-104 on Monday night.

Warriors stay unbeaten behind another big night from Curry

Denver_NuggetsOAKLAND, Calif. (AP) — Stephen Curry led the way once more with 34 points and 10 assists, his supporting cast did plenty to take the pressure off, and the defending champion Golden State Warriors beat the Denver Nuggets 119-104 on Friday night to stay unbeaten.

Hayward scores 20, Jazz beat Nuggets 96-84

Denver_NuggetsDENVER (AP) — Gordon Hayward scored 20 points, including seven in the fourth quarter, and the Utah Jazz pulled away late to beat the Denver Nuggets 96-84 on Thursday night.

Gallinari’s 23 points leads Nuggets over Rockets 105-85

Denver_NuggetsHOUSTON — Danilo Gallinari scored 23 points and the Denver Nuggets never trailed in a 105-85 victory over the Houston Rockets on Wednesday night in the season opener for both teams.

Nuggets trade Ty Lawson to Rockets

Update: The Denver Nuggets have traded point guard Ty Lawson to the Houston Rockets.

The Nuggets receive a lottery protected first-round pick in 2016 and cash considerations along with Nick Johnson, Kostas Papanikolaou, Pablo Prigioni and Joey Dorsey in the deal that also sends a 2017 second-round pick to Houston.

Lawson would give the Rockets needed depth at point guard with Patrick Beverley, though is currently dealing with off-the-court issues. He entered a 30-day residential treatment program for alcohol last week after his second DUI arrest.
