East Lansing, Mich. – On a day when Jeff Chesnut tied Steve Hale’s school record with his 87thcareer appearance, the Nebraska baseball team (29-16, 10-6 Big Ten) took the series opener at #24 Michigan State (30-12, 10-6 Big Ten) with a 6-3 victory. Four Huskers selected in NFL draft

Offensive tackle Alex Lewis and fullback Andy Janovich were selected in the NFL Draft on Saturday afternoon, giving Nebraska four selections in the 2016 Draft. The two Husker offensive players joined a pair of Blackshirt defenders selected in the draft, as defensive tackles Maliek Collins and Vincent Valentine who were taken in the third round on Friday night. Huskers Post 3-1 Win Over Kansas at Kauffman Stadium

Kansas City – The Kansas Jayhawks had the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth with two outs and left them loaded, as freshman Chad Luensmann notched his ninth save of the year to secure a 3-1 victory for the Nebraska baseball team (26-15, 7-5 Big Ten) at Kauffman Stadium in Kansas City. Meyers Homers and Notches Win in 4-2 Victory

Lincoln – Sophomore Jake Meyers hit a three-run homer in the sixth inning and earned the win on the mound in Nebraska’s (25-15, 7-5 Big Ten) series clinching 4-2 victory over Nicholls State (17-24, 7-11 Southland) on Sunday afternoon at Hawks Field.
