Huskers Complete Four-Game Sweep of Lions

Lincoln – With a 5-4 victory on Sunday afternoon at Hawks Field then Nebraska baseball team (9-6, 0-0 Big Ten) stretched its win streak to six games and recorded its first four-game sweep of an opponent since 2011 when it took four from North Dakota. The Huskers got home runs from both Ben Miller and Scott Schreiber, while Miller also drove in the eventual game-winning run with a double in the fifth. Huskers Beat Badgers 70-58 in B1G Tournament

Indianapolis (AP) — The only time Nebraska faced Wisconsin in the regular season, top scorer Shavon Shields was sidelined with an injury. And the Badgers shot better than 50 percent from the field in an 11-point victory.
Thursday night in the second round of the Big Ten Tournament, Shields was a major factor and Wisconsin simply couldn’t shoot straight.
