The North Platte Bulldogs (4-3) were unable to keep up with the top ranked team in Class A, the Millard West Wildcats (7-0) in a 42-7 loss on Friday night. Lady Bulldogs Softball headed to State
The North Platte high school softball team won the B-6 district softball tournament to qualify as the No. 7 seed for the Class B State Tournament in Hastings beginning this Wednesday. The Lady Bulldogs (18-18) last qualified for the state tournament in 2013, however North Platte’s last win at the state tournament was in 1999. They will open play on Wednesday against the No. 2 seed Beatrice (27-8) at 11:30 a.m.
Lady Bulldog golfers qualify for State with 3rd place District finish
The North Platte girls golf team finished in third place as a team at the District A-4 golf tournament today at Pacific Springs Golf Course in Omaha. The Lady Bulldogs edged Lincoln Southeast by one stroke to finish third and qualify the entire team. Junior Morgan Lashley took second as an individual with a score of 75, just one shot behind the tournament champion Megan Whittaker from Elkhorn South. GNAC Softball Tournament – Cancelled
The GNAC Softball Tournament at Kearney has been cancelled due to the weather. It will not be rescheduled.
The Lady Bulldogs host the District tournament on Thursday, October 8 at the Dowhower Softball Complex.
