North Platte —The North Platte Community College Lady Knights basketball team split games over the weekend, defeating the Midland College Junior Varsity Lady Warriors 70-62 on Friday and losing to the Northeast Community College Lady Hawks 83-52 on Saturday.

North Platte —The North Platte Community College Knights Softball team opened their 2016 season with a split against the Northeast Community College Lady Hawks winning the first game 11-4 and dropping the second game 11-8 in 10 innings. North Platte —The North Platte Community College Knights basketball defeated the Southeast Community College Storm 76-66 at the McDonald-Belton Gymnasium on Friday night.
The Knights started out sluggish in the game leading 20-15 with eight minutes to go in the first half. There were five lead changes in the first 12 minutes of the game.

North Platte — The North Platte Community College Lady Knights basketball team lost to the Southeast Community College Lady Storm 65-55 on Friday night at the McDonald-Belton Gymnasium.
The game was a National Junior College Athletic Association Region IX Division II game.
Suhmer Mitchell of the Lady Knights started off the scoring to give North Platte the early lead. Veshae Wilkinson answered back with a field goal and a three-pointer to give the Lady Storm the 5-2 lead. North Platte —The North Platte Community College Knights basketball team defeated the Laramie County Community College Golden Eagles in an important National Junior College Athletic Association Region IX South Sub-Region contest 75-73 Wednesday night at the McDonald-Belton Gymnasium.

Madison, Wis. – Nebraska ran into a hot-shooting Wisconsin team Wednesday night, as the Badgers hit 11 3-pointers in a 72-61 win over the Huskers.
Wisconsin (15-9, 7-4) hit 11-of-18 from 3-point range, including four consecutive 3-pointers after Nebraska pulled within two points in the opening minutes of the second half. Vitto Brown went 3-for-3 from long range en route to an 18-point effort, while Bronson Koening had a pair of 3-points in the 12-4 Badger run to extend the lead. North Platte —The North Platte Community College Knights basketball team will host the Laramie County Golden Eagles on Wednesday night February 10 at the McDonald-Belton Gymnasium on the South Campus of North Platte Community College.

North Platte —The North Platte Community College Knights basketball defeated the Western Nebraska Community College Cougars Saturday evening 90-73 in an important National Junior College Athletic Association Region IX South Sub-Region game.
The win also avenged a loss to the Cougars in Scottsbluff earlier in the season.

North Platte —The North Platte Community College Lady Knights basketball team were defeated by the Northeast Community College Lady Hawks on “Girl Scout Night” at the McDonald-Belton Gymnasium on Saturday afternoon.
