NFL Lockout Ends, Training Camps Set To Open, Former Huskers Set To Sign

The NFL lockout came to an end after a 130-day impasse between owners and players. Now the mad dash towards the start of preseason begins. The Denver Broncos will open the doors to their Dove Valley training facility today and open training camp tomorrow, with new coach John Fox holding his first full-squad meetings. All 32 NFL training camps will be open by Friday. It is a frantic period for each franchise as the process of signing undrafted free agents began last night. Several former Nebraska Huskers appear to have agreed to contract terms. Tight end Mike McNeil is reportedly headed to Indianapolis, safety Rickey Thenarse is headed to Seattle, offensive lineman Ricky Henry has reportedly signed with Chicago, and kicker Adi Kunalic appears set to join Carolina.
