LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Two Lincoln men have been selected to become county court judges in Lancaster County.
Gov. Dave Heineman has selected 43-year-old Thomas Fox and 55-year-old Timothy Phillips.
Fox is deputy Lancaster County attorney in the criminal and juvenile law division. The governor’s office says Phillips has civil and criminal trial experience in county and district courts.
One of the judgeship vacancies was created by the retirement of Judge Jean Lovell. The other judgeship was created by the Legislature this past session.
