The girls basketball state tournament begins today in Lincoln, and three Lincoln County teams will take the hardwood in first round action. Two of them will be seeing each other for the fifth time this season. The Hershey Lady Panthers and St. Patrick’s Lady Irish renew their rivalry in round one of the Class C2 tournament. The season series is even at two wins apiece. The Lady Irish are hoping to improve on last season’s fourth-place finish, while the Panthers are looking for their first ever state tourney win.
