Clifford “Cliff” Shields Wagner, age 44 of North Platte, passed away December 25,  2014, at his home.

He was born August 14, 1970 in Julesburg, CO to Robert and Geraldine (Shields) Wagner.  He lived in Big Springs, NE until moving to North Platte at age 11.  He continued his education in North Platte.  On April 15, 1994 he married Melissa ‘Missy’ Ann Whitson in North Platte and to this union two children were born, Season and Reed.  He was a long time supervisor at the B Street Runza.  He last worked at Jimmy Johns.  Cliff was a member of the Church of Christ on Willow Street.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.  He was a devoted son, father, brother and uncle.

Cliff is survived by his wife Missy Wagner; children Season Wagner and Reed Wagner both of North Platte; his mother Geraldine Fowler of Ohio; sister Roberta (Steve) Fletcher of North Platte; brother Aaron (Connie) Wagner of Ohio; niece Chrissy (Stephen) Grubbs of Georgia; nephews Brent (Gabby) Wagner, Scott Sloggett, and Zach Wagner all of North Platte; great nieces and nephews Isabella, Olivia and Noah Wagner of North Platte; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Robert Wagner; and grandmothers Ruth Tucker and Mildred Shields.

Memorials are suggested in his name and online condolences may be shared at www.adamsswanson.com.  A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday December 29, 2014 at the Church of Christ on Willow Street with Harold Rhea officiating.  Visitation will be from noon until 6:00 p.m. Sunday December 28, 2014.  Cremation will follow visitation.  Adams and Swanson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
