Carol Ann Thompson, age 64, of North Platte, passed away March 29, 2015 at her home. She was born May 2, 1950 in Salt Lake City, Utah to John and Naoma June (Lucerne) Ross. Carol lived and worked in Aurora, Co until she moved with her father to North Platte in 2007. She loved animals and volunteered for many years at the Aurora Animal Shelter.
Carol will be remembered as a great mom, grandma, and friend who selflessly gave her time and talents at every opportunity.
Survivors include her daughter, Tamran (Todd) Berol of North Platte; granddaughter, Larissa Berol; grandsons, Ty Berol and Ryan Berol; great-grandsons, Jaden and Carson Macias; brother, Cleve Thompson of Twin Falls, Idaho; nieces, Kerry (Thompson) Anderson and Kim (Thompson) Kondash; several great-nieces and nephews; and her beloved dogs, Sunshine, Mooney and Sky.
She was preceded in death by her parents.

Cremation was chosen. Memorial Services will be 4 p.m. Friday, April 10, 2015 at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home with the Reverend Jon Stone officiating. Those wishing to sign the register book may do so 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday at Adams & Swanson Funeral Home which is in charge of arrangements.
