A 63-year-old North Platte man is facing felony charges after he allegedly threatened another man with a gun.

At around 11:45 a.m., on April 8, officers with the North Platte Police Department responded to the Cedar Lodge Apartments, 421 Rodeo Road, on the report of a man being threatened with a gun.

Officers arrived and spoke to a 53-year-old male, who advised that he had gotten into an argument earlier in the day with Mark Fattig.

The victim told police that when he walked by the outside of Fattig’s apartment, Fattig pointed a handgun at him, then pointed the gun to the side and pulled the trigger.  According to witnesses, the gun was not loaded.

Officers continued to investigate, and seized a 10mm Glock 20 from Fattig’s home.

Fattig was then placed under arrest and charged with felony terroristic threats and use of a weapon to commit a felony.

He was jailed at the Lincoln County Detention Center.
