The last time North Platte and Millard West girls met was with a state tournament berth on the line in 2013, tonight the stakes are the same as the two teams meet up in Omaha for the District A-3 Championship.  The 2013 meeting went to a shootout after a scoreless tie in regulation with Millard West taking the shootout to advance to the Class A State Tournament where they would eventually take home the state title.  North Platte hopes to reverse the fortunes tonight at Buell Stadium in Omaha.

North Platte (11-5) has won four straight games, allowing just one goal against in that stretch.  Meanwhile, Millard West (13-2) also comes in sporting some positive momentum with wins in eight of their last nine contests, including shutouts in each of their last five wins.

Game time is set for 7:00 pm tonight at Buell Stadium in Omaha. The winner will advance to the Class A State Tournament which begins on May 14.
