AUDIO: NPCC Lady Knights Volleyball Overcomes Two Set Deficit to Get Fourth Win

chintalaNorth Platte – Down two sets to none, the North Platte Community College Lady Knights Volleyball team rallied to defeat the McCook Community College Lady Indians in five sets, 23-25,18-25,25-20,25-17, 15-13.

Jessica Lovitt finished the match with nine kills, two solo blocks and six assisted blocks. Megan Chintala finished with 29 defensive digs, including several one-handed saves to keep the ball in play.

Josie Palmer led the Lady Knights in kills with 10.  Shelby Wolever led the team with 19 set assists.  Madi Gilg added 15 set assists.  Chintala, Gilg, and Brooklyn Krehmeyer each had 11 service points

“It was a good game and battle and I’m glad we came out of top.” McCall said.

The Lady Knights are now 4-6 on the season.  They travel to Sterling, Colo., to play in the Pizza Hut Invitational on Sept. 9-10.
