Connie Louise Wood-Boss, 56, of North Platte, passed away May 18, 2018, at Great Plains Health.

Connie Louise Wood was born on Nov. 20, 1961, in Valentine, to Russell Boyd and Clara Joyce (Seaton) Wood. She grew up in North Platte and worked at several businesses.

She was always helpful to other employees and customers. Connie loved the outdoors, she enjoyed nature and all its beauty. She loved Cody Park and enjoyed fun times at the river. She loved all of her family and friends and had fun playing cards with her mom and sisters, and enjoyed a good game of Cad. She loved animals. Her current cat, Murphy, was so loving and special to her. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; and her sister and best friend, Carol Lynn Wood.

Connie is survived by her father, Russell Wood of Cambridge; mother, Joyce McNeal of North Platte; siblings, Cathy (Gary Twidwell) Wood of North Platte, Clare (Gene Naber) Wood of Hambolt; niece, Toni Bargell of Lincoln; nephew, David Bargell of North Platte; great-nieces, Makenna, Evelynn and Ellanor; special friend, Denny Bedker of North Platte; as well as other extended family members and many friends.

Services will be at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6, at Floral Lawns Memorial Gardens with Pastor Deb Dishman officiating. Adams and Swanson Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
