Huskers Fall in OT After Amazing Comeback

Miami – Tommy Armstrong Jr. and the Huskers orchestrated the greatest fourth-quarter comeback in Nebraska history, erasing a 23-point deficit in the final 8:36 of regulation, but Miami escaped with a 36-33 overtime win on Saturday at Sun Life Stadium.

Huskers Finish Non-Conference Play with 3-1 Win at Iowa State

Ames, Iowa – The No. 4 Nebraska volleyball team wrapped up non-conference play with a 3-1 (25-23, 21-25, 25-23, 25-11) win at Iowa State in front of 3,810 fans at Hilton Coliseum on Saturday evening.

The Huskers improved to 9-1 with the win, their best start since the 2011 season. Iowa State fell to 7-4.

Huskers to Make Minimum of 13 BTN Appearances

Lincoln – The Big Ten Conference announced that Nebraska will make a minimum of 13 regular-season appearances on BTN, as the Big Ten Network announced it schedule for the 2015-16 season this week.

NU Eager for Showdown in South Florida

Lincoln, Neb.- The Nebraska football team wrapped up another practice on Tuesday as the Huskers prepare for the Saturday afternoon showdown with the Miami Hurricanes in the Sunshine State. NU practiced outside on the Ed and Joyanne Gass grass practice field and inside the Hawks Championship Center for just over 90 minutes in half pads.

Huskers Begin Preparations for Miami

The Nebraska football team practiced for just over 90 minutes in half pads on Monday afternoon in preparation for its upcoming game against Miami.  The defense practiced outside on the Ed and Joyanne Gass Practice Field, while the offense practiced in Memorial Stadium.

Derrion Grim, a 3-star wide receiver prospect, from McNair HS in Stockton, California has announced his commitment to Nebraska for 2016. Grim was previously committed to Boise State but decided to switch his commitment after a visit to Lincoln for the South Alabama game.

Nebraska’s Terrell Newby Big Ten co-offensive player of week

LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Nebraska I-back Terrell Newby is the Big Ten’s co-offensive player of the week.

Lincoln – The fifth-ranked Nebraska volleyball team wrapped up its third straight sweep at the Ameritas Players Challenge with a 25-13, 25-15, 25-21 win over Georgia Tech on Saturday afternoon at the Bob Devaney Sports Center.

Lincoln – Nebraska used a balanced offense and a stingy defense to put together four solid quarters of football in a 48-9 victory over South Alabama on Saturday night.

Junior I-back Terrell Newby, junior quarterback Tommy Armstrong Jr., and junior receivers Lane Hovey, Brandon Reilly, Alonzo Moore and Jordan Westerkamp all put on a show for the 89,922 red-clan fans on hand for the 342nd consecutive sellout at Memorial Stadium.
