Manhattan, Kan. – The Nebraska baseball team (23-14, 7-5 Big Ten) notched its first extra-inning win of the year and snapped a five-game losing streak on Tuesday night with a 5-1 victory over the Kansas State Wildcats (16-21, 3-9 Big 12) in 11 innings at Tointen Stadium. #22 Michigan Takes Series Finale, 6-1, sweep Huskers

Ann Arbor, Mich. – After winning its first three Big Ten Conference series of the year, the Nebraska baseball team (22-13, 7-5 Big Ten) was swept by the #22 Michigan Wolverines (24-9, 6-2 Big Ten), dropping the series finale 6-1 on Sunday at the Wilpon Complex. It’s the first time Nebraska has been swept in a three-game Big Ten series since April of last season when it went 0-3 at Iowa. Omaha – A walk-off single by Brett Murray in the bottom of the ninth inning gave the Creighton Bluejays (21-7, 2-1 Big East) a 4-3 victory over the Nebraska baseball team (22-11, 7-2 Big Ten) on Tuesday night at TD Ameritrade Park.
