Samantha Morgan named NPCC “Business Student of the Month”

samantha morganSamantha Morgan is North Platte Community College’s “Business Student of the Month” for September.

The Iliff, Colo. native graduated from Caliche High School in 2014. Her parents are Bob and Diane Morgan.

Samantha is currently studying business office technology with a medical emphasis at NPCC. Her plans are to graduate in May with an associate degree then find a job pertaining to her field of study. Continue reading “Samantha Morgan named NPCC “Business Student of the Month””

Two receive rodeo scholarships

Two members of the Mid-Plains Community College Rodeo Team have been awarded scholarships to help further their education.

Duell Puttergill, of Tryon, competes in saddle bronc riding for the college. He is the recipient of a $750 scholarship from NEBRASKAland Days.

“I feel honored to have been picked for the scholarship,” said Puttergill. “I had no idea I was even a consideration for it. It will take some of the burden off of me for student loans and will make it easier to finish this last year of college.” Continue reading “Two receive rodeo scholarships”

NPCC Lady Knights Volleyball to Host Southeast

southeastThe North Platte Community College Lady Knights Volleyball team will host the Southeast Community College Lady Storm Wednesday night October 7 at the McDonald-Belton Gymnasium at 6 pm.

AUDIO: NPCC Lady Knights Lose Two to Ranked Teams on Day Two of Johnson County Invite

josie palmerThe North Platte Community College Lady Knights Volleyball team were defeated twice on day two of the Johnson County Invitational.  They lost to the Kirkwood Lady Eagles in the first match of the day 25-17, 25-23, 25-19, followed by a loss to the Parkland College Lady Cobras 25-15, 25-15, and 25-12.
